In case you haven’t heard, Monday, July 3 is the Middletown Independence Day Festival. The festival will take place from 4 p.m. – 11 p.m. at Smith Park, and we’re looking forward to seeing you and your family there!
The event will have fireworks at dark, food and drink vendors, a Kids Zone, and much more. The Broad Street Bash gang has lined up a great evening of live music for everyone as well, including the headliner The Romantics!
Admission to the event is free and it is open to the public. There will be free parking available surrounding the park in the City’s public lots and in Downtown Middletown. Two transit buses will run every half hour from the downtown transit station to Smith Park and back for your convenience. Parking inside of the park is reserved for handicap and VIP only.
On Tuesday, July 4, we’ll keep the Independence Day fun going with the Middletown Independence Day Parade at 10 a.m., starting at Woodside Cemetery and running to Smith Park. The parade will be followed by the Kids Fishing Derby in Smith Pond.
This will be a fun, patriotic weekend for all to enjoy – don’t miss out!
** Please note that in case of rainy weather, we have scheduled a rain date for July 8.
