This Week in Middletown (December 12 – December 18)

It’s Christmas time in Middletown!   Lots of events over the next few weeks to see and do and shop!

Light Up Middletown will be operating each night throughout December from 6:00pm – 10:00pm at Smith Park.  If you haven’t visited us before, Light Up Middletown is a fantasy drive-thru light display for the whole family. Admission is free, although donations are accepted. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be available for photos on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Community Christmas Party| 1:00pm – 3:00pm; Robert “Sonny” Hill, Jr. Community Center, 800 Lafayette Avenue, Middletown, Ohio

Hosted by Vineyard Cincinnati at Middletown. All are invited to this free event featuring live music, refreshments, crafts and games for children, and a family photo station!

Etched Glass Workshop| 1:00pm – 4:00pm;  Miami University Middletown, Levey Hall

 Miami University Regionals’ Middletown campus will hold a hands-on chemistry and glass ornaments workshop from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 17 in Levey Hall Rooms 209/213. 

Participants will learn to etch flat glass ornaments. All ornaments are $5 each, cash only. Participants should be 12 years old or older.

Central Connections (3907 Central Ave.) is hosting a weekly brunch from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

MENU:
Coconut French toast, Pancakes, Blintzes, Home fries, Polish sausage and peppers, Thick-cut smoked bacon, Scrambled eggs, Fried apples, Biscuits and sausage gravy, Fresh fruit, Yogurt and cottage cheese, Assorted muffins, Assorted pastries, Bagels with cream cheese

Cost is:

· adults–$13.95 per person.
· children ages 4 to 12–$7.95 per child.
· children age 3 and under eat free.

The following drinks are included with brunch; (coffee, orange juice, iced sweet tea, and water). Soda pop is $2 per person with free refills.
