Airport Update

There’s a blog post running around on Middletown USA about the City attempting to kick Start Skydiving out of the airport.  Not true…

John Hart has added a lot of value to the airport and the community with his very generous support of various causes and events.   The Ohio Balloon Challenge is next weekend along with Team Fastrax’s  Warrior Weekend to Remember honoring injured veterans.  I encourage you to attend the balloon event and if you see one of the wounded warriors over the weekend, please extend a warm Middletown welcome to them.

If you remember from earlier posts, we are planning to update the airport and are going through an approval process with FAA that will likely take 12-18 months.  We are working now to hire the FAA consultant to move us through that process.  The basic layout contemplated is below.

Nothing has changed from that plan and process.  Don’t believe everything you hear.

  1. Start Skydiving wishes to thank Doug Adkins and the City of Middletown for there support. We are proud to be part of this community and will continue to be a giving partner. Rumors are dangerous.
