Pilot Chemical Awards City of Middletown with Landscaping Grant
Pilot Chemical this week awarded the City of Middletown a $6,200 grant exclusively for landscaping in Middletown’s parks. This money will be used through the City of Middletown’s Public Works and Utilities Department: Grounds Division.
The grant will provide six trees and ornamental landscaping in two of Middletown’s Parks. The City is hosting two planting events in order to celebrate the grant.
The first event will be held on Tuesday, May 17 at 9:00 a.m. at the Dreamcatcher’s Field and Monument at Goldman Park.
The second event will be on Wednesday, May 18 at 11:00 a.m. at Lefferson Park, near Elley’s Hope Playground and the Middletown Pickleball courts.
I’d like to commend Pilot Chemical for their generous contribution to the City’s efforts to plant more trees in the City parks. It is the unwavering support from our business community and our residents that allows the City of Middletown to celebrate its bright past and move towards its brighter future.
Thank you Pilot Chemical!
